Through a generous donation made possible by the Levitetz Family Scholarship Fund, USA Wrestling has been granted the opportunity to help young wrestlers from across the country achieve their dreams. The Levitetz Family Scholarship Fund is designed to assist civic minded and disadvantaged youth attend USA Wrestling orcollegiate wrestling camps in the summer of 2010. Through a selection process established by USA Wrestling, wrestlers active in USA Wrestling have the opportunity to apply for financial assistance to receive partial or complete assistance to attend a wrestling camp in their region. USA Wrestling will be working directly with some of the best camps in the country in providing this unique opportunity to several deserving athletes.

US Camps and the Michigan Wrestling Camp have a proven track record, yet are probably the best-kept secret around in regards to being one of the best camp series in the country. Regardless of whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran, we have a specific camp designed for you. We use teaching and training methods similar to the ones used at the National Cadet, Junior, and Senior levels. Our staff consists of Olympic Wrestling Heroes and USA National Team members who are in the midst of preparing themselves to make the next US Olympic Team, along with other national wrestling stars. Our expert coaching staff focuses on the latest and greatest wrestling techniques, tactics, and strategies that have proven to be the most effective skills in today’s game. These U.S. Olympic Training center athletes and other coaches will bring a unique advantage to the young kids that will attend our camps and clinics.

Not just wrestling skills

Wrestling skills and knowledge are not the only focus of these camps. We will focus also on “leadership.” Teaching kids to take control of their careers and thus their wrestling destiny will be an added emphasis. We will focus on building character, self-discipline and commitment as well as teaching kids how to have fun with their training and competition.

Road To Glory
Our camp is very unique! Everyday our campers are able to enjoy an inspirational session, put on by the attending headliners. This is were we prepare them mentally to meet their opponent head-on. Not only in wrestling, but in life as well! Click here to watch our Road to Glory of the Week
